The Army Records Society was founded in 1984 with the object of publishing documents relating to the military history of Britain. Each year the Society issues an edited volume illustrating some aspect of the Army’s past. The volumes form an invaluable source not only for military historians and students but also for anyone interested in the history of the British Army from its origins to the present.
Membership of the Society is open to all, subject to approval of the council. There is an annual subscription of £25 (for individuals) and £35 (for institutions) within the British Isles and £35 for individuals and institutions living overseas.
Members receive a free copy of each new work issues by the Society, and may purchase back volumes at a reduced cost.
