The SPAB Old House Show 2018

Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London SE10 9NN
Friday 7th September 2018 10am - 5pm and Saturday 8th September 2018 10am - 4.45pm

The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB) is Britain’s oldest conservation charity and has around 8,500 members. Founded by William Morris in 1877 to combat destructive Victorian enthusiasm for restoration rather than repair, today SPAB continues to offer advice, education and expertise to building professionals and homeowners. They also campaign against threats to historic buildings.

The Event
The SPAB Old House Show is an exciting new venture and an opportunity to connect with a discerning audience that really loves and appreciates old houses. Taking place over two days (Friday and Saturday), the show will be staged at the magnificent Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, bringing together some of the finest professionals and craftspeople involved with old buildings today. Unlike other shows, this event will feature a unique practical element, showcasing traditional building crafts through a programme of fascinating interactive demonstrations. In addition, expert-led homeowner seminars will complement the ‘hands-on’ strand of the show.
